Drawings and Technical Information
Information submitted for quotation or engineering review may include drawings, CAD data, specifications and other proprietary technical information. FORMET uses such information for legitimate business purposes associated with evaluating, quoting, engineering or fulfilling the requested work. Where a separate nondisclosure agreement applies, handling of confidential information is also governed by that agreement. Submitting information through the website does not, by itself, create a nondisclosure agreement or other confidential relationship. Customers requiring confidentiality before disclosure should contact FORMET to arrange an appropriate NDA before transmitting proprietary information.
Website Forms, Newsletter and Spam Protection
When you use our contact form, quote request form or newsletter sign-up, the information you enter – such as your name, company, email address, phone number, message and any files you upload – is sent to us by email and stored in our website’s database so that we can respond to your inquiry and keep a record of it. Files uploaded through the quote request form are forwarded to us as email attachments and are not kept on the web server.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email address to send you industry insights and FORMET news about once a month. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter email or by writing to info@formetcomponents.com.
Our forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which analyzes interaction data to distinguish people from automated software. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Form submissions are retained for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and for our business records. You may ask us to correct or delete them at any time by writing to info@formetcomponents.com.
