FORMET Engineered Components is a DBA of BARUS AMERICA LLC, bringing together engineering, manufacturing and global supply capabilities for industrial and OEM customers.
Our manufacturing scope includes engineered plastics and injection molding, precision CNC machining, forging, metal stamping, industrial tooling, mold and die manufacturing, threading tools, TBM cutting tools and custom engineered components.
We support projects ranging from prototypes and specialized low-volume components to repeat, high-volume OEM production.
Rather than approaching manufacturing as a single process, FORMET integrates product engineering, material selection, manufacturability, tooling, production, inspection and supply around the requirements of the finished component.
Our goal is straightforward: make technically demanding components easier to source, manufacture and scale.

OUR HISTORY

Our story began in 2009 with BARUS operations established in Miami, Florida, and Istanbul, Türkiye. In 2014, our U.S. operations were reorganized as BARUS LLC in Walnut Creek, California.
In 2026, the FORMET brand was established as a DBA of BARUS AMERICA LLC and began operations in San Ramon, California, focusing on engineered components, industrial tooling, and high-volume OEM manufacturing.
BARUS Ltd., FORMET Ltd., and TECNOMAC Ltd. are Group companies in Türkiye focused on design, manufacturing, and services. Our network also includes qualified manufacturing partners and dedicated business development and sales representation internationally. FORMET is also represented by a dedicated business development and sales representative in Italy.
Together, this network provides engineering expertise, flexible manufacturing, U.S.-based customer support, and reliable supply from product development through production and delivery.
